What is included?
The one-pair base kit (supplier reference 004-6260-00), plus two additional matching 1B-100 DA600+ beam pairs (004-2780-00 per pair). Each pair contains two opposing beam units. The receiver and dialler are shared across all 3 pairs; you do not need a separate dialler or SIM for each pair.
Wall/pole mounting brackets, the standard base-kit plug-in power supplies and the receiver-to-dialler connecting cable are included. An active compatible SIM must be obtained separately.
How it works
Mount each beam pair across a separate gateway, track or vulnerable approach. A person or vehicle crossing an aligned beam pair triggers the shared indoor receiver. When the KP9 dialler is armed, the receiver's wired connection triggers the dialler to call and/or text your programmed contacts. The receiver can also provide a local chime.
The receiver has four channels, allowing the 3 beam pairs to be learned into separate channels for local identification. Mobile notifications depend on the receiver-to-dialler wiring and configuration; a separate mobile zone message for every beam pair is not guaranteed.
Installation and power
The outdoor beams use rechargeable batteries with built-in solar charging. Site them where they receive sufficient daylight and keep each detection path unobstructed. Align and test every pair carefully before final mounting. The indoor receiver and dialler require plug-in mains power and should be installed in a dry indoor location. Connect the receiver to the dialler with the supplied short cable, programme your contacts and test calls and texts from every beam pair.

4G, SIM and mobile coverage information
Mobile alerts require an active compatible nano SIM and adequate mobile reception at the dialler. Choose a SIM/network compatible with the KP9 dialler that supports its telephone and SMS functions. SIM purchase, PAYG credit, call/text charges and any service or contract charges are separate and not included in the kit price. No fixed Wi-Fi connection is required.
Site, range and alignment information
The 100m detection span applies to each individual beam pair, not to a continuous 300m beam. The 900m wireless range is a manufacturer maximum measured in clear-line-of-sight conditions. Buildings, trees, terrain and interference can reduce practical range. Test wireless signal, beam alignment and mobile reception at your intended positions before fixing the equipment permanently. Dual detection helps reduce nuisance activations; it does not guarantee that all animals will be ignored.

How many beam pairs are included?
Three complete 1B-100 beam pairs, giving you 6 outdoor units to monitor 3 separate routes. All pairs use the same indoor receiver and 4G dialler.
Can this be expanded later?
Yes. The DA600+ receiver is designed to accept additional compatible DA600+ detectors. Contact Rural Secure to check the best additions and wiring for your site.
Is there a monthly subscription?
The kit price does not include a mobile service plan. Remote telephone and SMS alerts need an active compatible SIM; your chosen network's SIM, credit, call/text and service charges apply separately.
Does the system need Wi-Fi?
No fixed Wi-Fi is required. The beam pairs communicate wirelessly with the indoor receiver, and the dialler uses the mobile network. Indoor plug-in power and adequate mobile reception are required.
