Compare perimeter beam systems
| System | Protected routes | Alert destination | Best suited for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Single-Beam Alert | One | Indoor receiver | One key entrance or route |
| Single-Beam 4G Alert | One | Mobile connectivity | Remote awareness for one route |
| Four-Beam System | Four | Zone-identifying receiver | Several entrances or boundary points |
| Four-Beam 4G System | Four | Mobile connectivity | Remote multi-zone sites |
Beam systems are especially useful around farms, long driveways, storage yards and remote buildings. Combine them with solar siren alarms for on-site deterrence or 4G cameras for visual verification.
How does a perimeter beam alarm work?
A paired beam creates a defined detection line. When that line is broken, the system sends a signal to its receiver or connected alert equipment.
Should I choose 4G or an indoor receiver?
An indoor receiver suits alerts while somebody is at the property. A compatible 4G system is more appropriate where remote awareness is required. Check mobile coverage, alert method and any ongoing charges before ordering.
