Rural Secure Installation Rating
1/5 · Easy, with the correct wheel
Secure a compatible trailer wheel with the Bulldog QD12, a portable wheel clamp with a wheel-nut protection disc. A useful extra layer for trailers parked at home, at the yard or on site.
Check compatibility before ordering
For 185/60 R12 steel wheels without wheel trims, subject to wheel profile and clearance checks. Some Ifor Williams trailers use this size, but confirm the actual wheel fitted rather than choosing by trailer brand.
Why choose it?
- Wheel-nut protection disc helps restrict access to the fixings.
- Hardened lower arms provide a physical barrier around the wheel.
- Portable design can be removed and stored between uses.
Best suited to
Compatible small-wheel trailers, including appropriate farm and utility trailers.
How it works & fitting overview
- Read the tyre sidewall and confirm steel-wheel profile and clearance.
- Position the clamp sections and protection disc following Bulldog’s guide.
- Engage the lock and check the clamp is firmly located.
This overview does not replace the manufacturer’s instructions. Read the Bulldog fitting instructions. Remove all security devices before moving or towing the vehicle.
