The 40m model is intended for longer tracks, entrances and approaches. For doorways and compact yards, compare the Wireless HD Cam 15m. To reduce routine battery maintenance, consider the Wireless HD Cam Solar Kit.

Want a complete matched setup?

For a long rural entrance, see the Long Driveway Security Kit. For several vulnerable farm approaches, compare the Multi-Entrance Farm Alert Kit. For fuel tanks and machinery areas, see the Farm Fuel & Machinery Security Kit.

Returns and warranty

This product has a 2-year manufacturer warranty. If a fault cannot be resolved remotely, the unit must be returned to Luminite for assessment with a returns number. Return carriage is borne by the customer.

For help assessing mobile signal, power, detection distance and running costs, read our guide to farm security cameras without Wi-Fi.

SIM, signal and subscription information

This product uses 4G mobile data and does not require Wi-Fi. Each unit is supplied with a roaming SIM. Before use, the end customer completes a direct debit form with Luminite Electronics. Once active, Luminite pairs the SIM to the OCULi portal. The lowest SIM subscription starts from £6.50 per month and can be cancelled with one month’s written notice. Suitable mobile coverage is required for reliable operation.

Does the 40m camera require Wi-Fi?

No. It uses the supplied roaming SIM and mobile network rather than fixed broadband.

Is the 40m model suitable for a building entrance?

It is designed for longer detection areas. The wider 15m version may be a better fit for doorways, compact yards and shorter approaches.
